Luke 6:20
And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for your's is the kingdom of God.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hat hanointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.
And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then? He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath neat, let him do likewise.
He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree. He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.
And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made? For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her. And Jesus said, Let her alone; shy trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me. For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always.
And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mies, which make a farthing. And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That his poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which hae cast into the treasury: For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.
